Description
The Mercedes 220 S Cabriolet (built in 1959) is a four-seat cabriolet from the Ponton range. The car is powered by a 2. 2-litre inline-six engine delivering around 100 bhp, paired with a four-speed manual gearbox.
The example on offer here is in fully restored condition. The body, paintwork, chrome trim, and interior upholstery are well presented and in keeping with the historic look. The fabric hood completes the premium finish.
The 220 S succeeded the earlier models of the 220 (W187) range and was later replaced by the successor model of the tailfin range (W111).
