Description
This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show 2026 on Saturday the 21st of March - Sunday the 22nd of March, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
First registered in 1971 and presented in Old English White, having previously been finished in Green with the colour change understood to have been recorded with the DVLA in 2016
In our vendor’s ownership for around five years and used sparingly during that time, remaining a well-presented example of this traditional British saloon
Subject to restoration in the past including bare-metal bodywork refurbishment, repairs to wings, replacement outriggers and sills, front floor repairs and rust treatment, with evidence suggesting the repaint was carried out at that time
Powered by the 1, 622cc B-Series engine paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, offering the dependable and relaxed driving characteristics typical of the model
Offered following a period of limited use and expected to require an element of recommissioning prior to regular road use, presenting a solid and appealing prospect for sympathetic return to the road
