Description
The 4. 0 liter V8 biturbo in the Mercedes AMG GT R delivers 585 hp through a transaxle setup. In this configuration the gearbox sits on the rear axle to achieve an ideal weight distribution. Its 700 Nm of torque remains manageable thanks to active rear axle steering and a traction control system you can adjust yourself. On the exterior the large rear wing and hidden aerodynamics beneath the floor use airflow to press the car firmly onto the road at high speeds.
Nice detail: a carbon panel under the front section automatically lowers at eighty kilometers per hour. This creates a Venturi effect which pushes the front axle onto the road with extra force.
