Background:The Chrysler 300 SRT8 represents the high-performance flagship of Chrysler’s full-size saloon range, combining understated styling with significant V8 power. Introduced as part of the second-generation 300 line-up, the SRT8 model was developed by Chrysler’s Street and Racing Technology division to deliver enhanced performance, handling and braking over the standard car.
At its heart is the naturally-aspirated 6. 4-litre HEMI V8, producing around 470hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through an automatic transmission.
