Originating from California, this model has been fully equipped since leaving the factory and was imported into England in 2009, then to France in 2020. It is registered in the VASP collection as a 5-seat vehicle. With a complete invoice history dating back to 2009 and all routine inspections up to date (the English MOT and the French CT), you can be confident in its maintenance history.
Externally, this T2A was repainted white a few years ago; the paint is very bright and presents very well, although there are a few minor defects. It retains its vintage look with its original wheels and ride height, while guaranteeing comfortable driving. The pop-top folds over with ease; the hinges are recent. The fabric is in fair condition and transports us back to the 70s with its small fringe trim! For ventilation, it benefits from the two large side windows with slats.
The interior of this Volkswagen T2A has been fully renovated at a cost of over £4, 000. The storage furniture, removable sliding table, sink, gas cooker, cooler, and the electrical installation (with a second battery) have been replaced. The dashboard is well preserved, while the seats and floor mats are in excellent condition. It offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a wooden headlining and pretty checkered curtains.
Mechanically, the engine, suspension, and brakes have benefited from substantial recent work. Everything is in good working order; no expenses to anticipate.
