First registered in the UK in 1998 and remaining with the same keeper ever since, this charming post-war T-Series is offered directly from a deceased estate. The vehicle is accompanied by paperwork detailing a comprehensive restoration undertaken in the 1990s. Crucially for an MG of this era, the works included the construction of a new ash frame, walnut dashboard, and a rebuild of the engine.
Having been kept in storage in recent years, the MG is now presented as a recommissioning project. Bidders should note that there is evidence of rodent activity which has damaged the hood and other interior trim. The accompanying tonneau cover is no longer serviceable, though it will be supplied as a template for replacement. Also note that the keys have been misplaced during storage and a front brake is currently binding, so care and appropriate transport will be required. The DVLA system, lists the TC's engine capacity at 1099cc which would not be correct for the model. Bidders should satisfy themselves as to the engine fitted to the car.
