1976 Daimler Sovereign 4. 2 XJ Two door coupe finished in Squadron Blue with navy blue leather interior, Black Vinyl ever-flex Roof and sitting on period correct Kent Alloy wheels. A very rare car which was only made for two years (1975/ 77) and marketed initially as Daimler Sovereign 4. 2 two door.
A truly superb looking car and and in exemplary condition! This vehicle was Ziebarted from new which has preserved this car extremely well. The paintwork is in incredible condition throughout with no panel damage, door dings or rust. The leather interior is excellent with no significant damage or marks. Roof lining is very good, dashboard is very good and all instrumentation works as it should. No known faults or defects. A car that looks superb in any light and one that draws a lot of attention.
This vehicle drives extremely well and changes through the three speed gearbox very well. Oil pressure on this 4. 2 engine straight 6 is excellent and coolant temperature is perfect too! A very large history file accompanies this car detailing its history and servicing to a very high level.
