Description
This Aston Martin DB6 was specified from the factory in Kingfisher Blue with a Black Leather interior. the car was fitted with Power Assisted Steering , Chrome Multispoke Roadwheels, Heated Rear Window and 3 Ear Hub Caps. This is an amazing example of an Aston Martin DB6 with a huge amount of paperwork including invoices and ownership records. the car also includes the original instruction book and factory record from the British motor industry heritage trust. This car was previously owned by the comedian David Walliams who owned the car in the early 2000's. there are many invoices in his name as well as photos of him driving the car around London. during his ownership he spent in excess of £20, 000 restoring and servicing the car which is all shown in the invoices. he did all sorts to the car such as stripping the engine and replacing the block, refinishing the head and rebuilding the carburettors. he also had the whole cooling system replaced including hoses and the radiator. he also spend roughly £5000 refinishing the chrome and replacing suspension bushings on the car making it look and drive amazing. this car left the factory with an automatic gearbox but later in its life was swapped to a manual for a better driving experience however when David brought it he had it swapped back to an automatic to restore the car to its original gearbox specification.
