Description

1967 Morris Minor 1098cc Good Condition. Great Driver. Well Maintained. MOT Exempt & Free Road Tax.

A very presentable little Moggie that drives really well and has been very well maintained over the last 20 years.

She comes with a nice history file including a British Heritage Certificate, invoices and handwritten notes from its long term keeper.

The car was the subject of an older restoration, with further work carried out up to 2022, when it was last in regular use.

This recent work included a complete new clutch, new carpets, a stainless steel exhaust, four new tyres, all copper brake pipes, brake cylinders and shoes front and rear, a handbrake cable, a water pump, heater valve, fuel tank sender and more.

He also carried out some hand coach painting to freshen up areas of fading paintwork. While not a professional coach painter, and as such there are some visible brush marks, the overall finish still presents well and suits the car nicely. It has been priced accordingly, offering an honest and usable Moggie that, while not a show winner, you certainly would not be embarrassed to park her the show field.

The car comes with a standard UK V5 document and can be driven anywhere in the UK without the need for re-registration or import duties. Its long term Northern Ireland ownership also makes it well suited for export to the Republic of Ireland.

Please note she is fast approaching her 60th birthday and should not be compared to your modern 2, 3 or even 10 year old daily driver. That said, she is in good condition, drives very well and I can see nothing that routine servicing and maintenance would not take care of.

The Morris Minor was built by Morris Motors from 1948 to 1971, debuting at the Earls Court Motor Show in London.

Designed by Alec Issigonis, over 1. 6 million were produced across three main versions: the Series MM, Series II, and the much-loved 1000 series.
Originally launched as a two door saloon and convertible, the range soon expanded to include a four-door, a wooden-framed estate (the Traveller), plus van and pick-up models.

It was the first British car to sell over a million units, and it’s still celebrated today as a true icon of British motoring.

HPI CHECKED – The car has been checked and there is no known outstanding finance, mileage discrepancies, or insurance records of damage or theft.

DELIVERY - We can arrange delivery anywhere in the UK or Ireland at very reasonable rates.

ABOUT ME - I began as an apprentice mechanic in 1974, started my own car business in 1982, expanding to Newtownards in 1993. After selling the business my classic car passion led to the creation of Cherryvalley Cars and Classics.
