The Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG (R230), was produced between 2002 and 2008 and is a high-performance luxury Roadster featuring a 5. 4 Litre Supercharged V8 Engine and was the world’s fastest Automatic car upon its release.
This lovely ** Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG Kompressor** was first registered on ** 15th November 2005** and is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic with a Designo Charcoal Grey leather interior, Carlsson CR 1/ 16 FORGED Ultralight 19" Alloy Wheels, folding Panoramic Glass roof, Tyre pressure monitoring, Xenon headlamps, Parking sensors front and rear, Heated seats, Memory seats, Folding mirrors, Navigation system, TV Tuner, Cruise control, CD Changer and a Wind deflector. It is also pretty unique as it has had ** Lambo Style Vertical Doors** fitted and it has a '** Tracker'**.

Approximately 12 years ago, the car was fitted with a ** Lambo Vertical Door kit** which makes this car fairly unique. The doors can open vertically as can be seen in the photographs, but they also open normally, albeit not fully open, but enough to allow you to get in and out of the car easily without putting the doors up. This was one of the key factors enticing the current owner to buy the car!
The car has now covered a genuine ** 57, 695** Miles from new with a ** Full & comprehensive service history** from both Mercedes Benz Main dealers and specialists, and there are lots of invoices in the history file from 2007 to date. The current owner purchased the car in March 2018, and during his ownership of 8 years, he has spent **£22, 870** on the car including new Tyres, new Brake Discs and Pads, numerous new parts, routine servicing with the most recent expenditure for new suspension struts and associated components and a new** ABC Pump** fitted in December 2025 by Mercedes specialist ** Star-Tec Engineering.** Everything works as it should including the roof mechanism and it has had new seals around the boot lid, so it has none of the common water leaks found on some cars.
It has a fully stamped service book with ** 12 stamps** \\\\- 5 from Mercedes Main dealers and 7 from Mercedes Specialists, a full MOT History, its original Mercedes Benz Leather Wallet containing all books and manuals and it is in lovely condition throughout. There are a few minor marks and rim scuffs on a couple of the alloy wheels, but nothing drastic and no more than you would expect on a car of this age and the car drives superbly with no suspension squeaks or noises and the SL55 AMG is of course a fantastic and very fast car to drive.
It is clear on all HPi Registers including the National Mileage Register and it is of course ** ULEZ compliant.**
Upon sale, the car will receive a pre-sales service and come with a new MOT and a 6 Month standard Warranty which can be upgraded and extended at additional cost if required. (Currently MOT'd until December 2026)
