Body / Exterior:
The car shown here is an April 1969 Austin Healey Sprite MK IV, in its original “British Racing Green” colour (matching colour).
The bodywork is presented in excellent condition, with a uniform hue and superb gloss.
After a professional polish by our workshop, a small defect was found under the paint at the top of the left rear wing and small paint chips were corrected on the leading edge of the driver’s door.
The chrome bumpers are properly aligned and in good condition despite some light oxidation marks.
The grille cromes are in good order.
The original decorative mouldings are complete and in good condition.
The black soft-top is new (invoice available).
Fitting of the soft-top is easy and its seal remains in keeping with the era’s standards.
This example also has a black vinyl colour matching top cover in perfect condition.
The original 13’’ black wheels and chrome hubcaps are in good order despite a few minor dings and light chrome oxidation.
The 4 BF GOODRICH tires show 40% wear.
This example comes with its spare wheel and original jack.
Among the notable exterior features, we noted the black vinyl top cover.
Interior:
The interior retains its period layout and presents well.
Leather upholstery in black with matching piping is in good condition, with no signs of wear or sagging.
Matching black vinyl door panels are also in very good condition.
The black carpets are in good condition, with no snags or tears.
The black vinyl dashboard cap has a small crack.
SMITHS instrument cluster is fully functional.
This car is equipped with a sport black leather 3-spoke PROTOTIPO steering wheel.
The Austin Healey leather gear knob shows patina from use.

Chassis:
The lift confirms a solid shell, with no visible accident damage or structural corrosion.
Foundations: wooden floors, sills and wheel arches are in good condition.
Usage reserve: we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond their visual and functional good condition as validated on-road and on the ramp.
During dynamic testing, no abnormal rattles were heard from the body or suspension components (trunnions, bushings, etc.).
Braking is balanced and aligned, with performance in line with era standards.
Front discs and pads show 40% wear.
The rear drums work perfectly and show no sign of seepage.
A road-test tech inspection performed by our workshop prior to delivery will confirm overall functionality.
Engine / Transmission:
The 4-cylinder 1. 275cc engine runs perfectly.
The mechanics were removed and restored in 2011 by a specialist (invoice €3, 765).
During this work, the following were restored or replaced: the 4 pistons, the rod bearings, the side shims, the bore, the crankshaft grinding, the valve guides, the valve-seat machining, the balancing of the moving assembly, the adjustments and tune, engine oil 20w50.
Compression checks and the road test performed by our workshop confirm a healthy engine.
The 4-cylinder starts immediately, with no smoke or unusual noises and a steady idle, as confirmed by the 360° video with the engine running available at the start of the slideshow.
Cold oil pressure is 60 psi at 1100 rpm.
Once warm, the revs rise smoothly with no hiccups.
Engine/ gearbox/ axle reliability is improved by an aluminium radiator and an additional cooling fan.
This example is equipped with a Weber twin-choke carburettor and a high-performance starter.
All four gears engage and synchronise smoothly.
Clutch bite is good.
This example has a battery cut-off and a start button.
As is common on these models, engine/ gearbox/ axle seals are only average.
