1959 Jaguar XK150FHC for sale.
This superb XK150 is presented in Mist grey with contrasting red hide interior which is the combination that it left the factory, the car also has it's original matching numbers engine and Moss manual 4 speed gearbox with overdrive.
The car was produced in 1959 and is a genuine original right hand drive home market car still bearing its original registration number. It has had 4 owners from new, the first owner keeping the car for nearly 50 years! The vehicle odometer displays just 55960 miles and this is backed up by various paperwork and a declaration from the original owners family to add to it's genuine appeal. This motor car has had substantial work carried out much of which is documented, such names as Twyford motors [body renovation in the 1990's] P&K Thornton [full interior retrim 2010] CMC, and SNG Barrett to name a few, the engine has also had a full rebuild with invoices detailing the £5500 spent in 1997. There is a plenty of interesting paperwork to support.
The Jaguar has certainly spent many years of its life being stored and presents with a lovely original patina often only found on low mileage, low owner, original cars. As you'd expect the car drives beautifully and is certainly a lovely place to spend time in. There is paperwork for a recent major service and inspection costing £2350 and the car has only covered a handful of miles since, in addition we have just fitted 2 new tyres.
