"Beautiful overall condition, same owner from 1992 to 2026!"
The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was introduced in 1965 at the London Motor Show after ten years of design and development. Its production marked a historic milestone for the British marque.
The new series saloon retains the engine and Hydramatic gearbox of the latest Silver Cloud, but now features a monocoque chassis with rear suspension and coil springs, and is equipped with four-wheel disc braking with power assistance.
Another revolution, the Silver Shadow was designed to be driven by its owner rather than a chauffeur. It enjoyed unexpected commercial success up to 1976 with nearly 20, 000 units sold across all versions.
Our example left the factory as a right-hand drive in a rare and interesting colour combination. In 1992 it joined the workshop of a prominent collector in the Île-de-France region, having been meticulously maintained predominantly by ODS workshops. Today, its condition is very good, and its operation is optimal: the hallmark of cars regularly used!
Silver Shadows that are in good running condition and preserved are rare on the market… Here is a fine example that will satisfy even the most demanding collectors!
