"An eight-seat original estate car!"
The Ford estate car shown in these pages is a Country Squire, a Crown Victoria-derived model, very popular in the USA. The engine is a 460 ci V8 producing 200 bhp.
It dates from July 1976. It was bought in Mexico by the current collector and arrived in France in May 2018.
It was in good original condition and since joining the collection has been regularly maintained by workshops specialising in classic cars.
In 2018, a floor panel was replaced, then the brakes were restored. More recently, the radiator and starter have been replaced and the side panels received a new vinyl sticker.
Our example is today presented in its original condition, it runs very well but would benefit from a little cosmetic care.
