Last owner since 2011 who along with other previous owners have meticulously mechanically maintained this driver quality example regardless of cost. With over 35 stamps in the service book and receipts for extensive ongoing maintenance this is a very well looked after example that is ready to be enjoyed.
Rebuilt engine, gearbox, new turbo and clutch all done by marque specialists South West Lotus Centre at 148, 000 miles.
Other notable Elan improvements such as upgraded gear change cables replaced with a new design of rod cables, made by a retired aircraft engineer (from the Elan Central forum) Upgraded rear brake callipers were also changed to an improved design to solve the handbrake issues that causes MOT failure. SW Lotus sourced and fitted performance injectors from USA and GAZ rear shocks have all transformed the driving experience and reliability.
Re-trimmed interior, refurbished wheels, 4 new Uniroyal Rainsport tyres fitted Oct 2025, timing belt, March 2025 and hood seals renewed.
