Description
The 997. 2 Turbo is the facelifted version of the 997 Turbo, introduced in 2009 with a new 3. 8 litre engine, direct fuel injection and the seven-speed PDK replacing the Tiptronic. The engine produces 500 ps and 650 Nm through the PDK to all four wheels. Compared to the 997. 1 the engine responds more directly thanks to direct injection, and the PDK shifts noticeably faster than the Tiptronic it replaced. PASM and Sport Chrono are fitted as standard. This example is equipped with a RUF wheel kit, which visually tightens the already wide Turbo body even further.
Fun fact: the 997. 2 Turbo was the first 911 Turbo with PDK. Porsche introduced the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox as an option on the 997. 2 Carrera range, but made it available on the Turbo from the launch of the 997. 2 generation.
