Description
In 2016 Land Rover Classic announced their plans to build 25 “Reborn” Series 1 Land Rovers. Starting with an age-appropriate donor, the vehicles underwent a restoration of a quality never normally seen on a Series Land Rover.
This particular car, which was the sixteenth car to be restored, is a 1950-model “lights behind the grille” 80 inch Series 1. A late 1949 car, it spent that majority of its life in Australia, before being acquired by JLR Classic for restoration. The car is finished in the ubiquitous Bronze green, with green leather seats, matching inward-facing rear seats, and the optional heater. The car has covered less then 500 miles since being “Reborn”. The car has been prepared for sale in Land Rover Classic’s own workshops, and is supplied with 12 months warranty and 12 months breakdown cover to its new custodian.
