1962 Ford Zephyr Restoration Project. This is a RHD import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid and the UK reg has been applied for. Its a fairly solid original old car but will need work to get it on the road.
Body - Good inner wings, chassis, floors, inner sills, jacking points. Doesnt look like its been welded previously. Will need a repair on osr sill end as thats holed, otherwise it looks pretty decent. Its not plastered with underseal or similar so you can see what your up against. Paintwork is very period and probably looks better in the pics than it is. There are a few dry patches. If you wanted to make it a show car youd be into a paintjob. Good grille and headlight surrounds. Window chrome is good. Bumpers will need rechromed
Mechanics - Not had it running as some parts missing. Starter motor is a bit lazy. We have had it turning over. Clutch slave cylinder missing. Everything else is untested.
Interior - Matching blue seats which look to have been retrimmed. Tidy enough. Door cards look original and useable but bit wear on drivers handle. Headlining is good. Carpet looks aftermarket or DIY.
Wheels - Original steels with hubcaps and trim rings.
Some spares in boot, some it looks useable some is junk.
