A beautifully presented example of the final air cooled Porsche 911, finished in the rare and highly desirable colour of Aventurine Green with a full black leather interior. Having covered 80, 168 miles from new, this manual Carrera presents in exceptional condition throughout, with superb paintwork, an almost unmarked interior and a comprehensive service history. The car has been meticulously maintained, with 24 recorded services carried out by Porsche Centres and respected marque specialists. The most recent service was completed by Strasse Porsche in January this year. A new clutch was fitted in 2016, Bilstein dampers have been installed all round. The air conditioning has also recently benefited from a new evaporator and receiver dryer and is operating exactly as it should. Originally an Australian market car, but has been registered in the UK since early in its life. The speedo has been changed from Km to Miles, by Porsche and this is documented.
Specification includes electric seats with lumbar support, cruise control, air conditioning, sound package, electric sunroof, electric windows and electric mirrors. A Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB head unit has been discreetly installed, complemented by upgraded speakers and amplifier, combining modern functionality with a period correct appearance. The car sits on Porsche Technology hollow spoke 18" alloy wheels (in the correct 993 fitment) finished in satin bronze, a combination that works beautifully against the Aventurine Green paintwork. They are fitted with almost new Continental SportContact tyres.
Mechanically, the car is everything you would hope for from a well sorted 993. It has recently completed a 2, 500-mile road trip through the Alps without fault, remains completely dry underneath with no oil leaks, and shows no signs of corrosion. It drives beautifully and reflects careful ownership throughout its life.
Supplied with two stamped service books, two keys, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a substantial history file of invoices and MOTs, original steering wheel, tool kit and jack.
