This 1965 Ford Mustang GT convertible features a Rangoon Red body with a white stripe running along the side and a white roof. The original paint is in excellent condition across all panels, providing an immaculate fit and finish apart from a few signs of use. The bonnet, boot, front wings, lower sills and rear quarters are original. The front and rear chrome bumpers are in excellent condition. The rear glass panel in the roof is glass and the roof cover is new. The windscreen and its surround were recently replaced, while the rest of the windows are original with no cracks. The 289 A Code engine has a 4V setup with an aluminium intake and an Edelbrock carburettor. The transmission is a 4-speed manual Toploader gearbox. The vehicle has disc brakes, power steering and air conditioning. Whitewall radial tyres are fitted to the original wheels. A twin exhaust system is fitted. Inside, the Pony trim features red upholstery with two bucket seats and an original centre console. The dashboard, steering wheel and dash top are original, although the suspension damper has been replaced previously. The front and rear door panels are in excellent condition on all four sides. The carpet is extremely clean, with the seats showing only light wear for the driver and an immaculate condition for the passenger and the rear bench. Front and rear seatbelts are present. All instruments, the horn, wipers, radio and fan work correctly. The boot compartment is in perfect condition with no rust and includes a mat, a spare wheel and its cover. The chassis is solid, previously detailed and free from rust. The floor pans and the inner sections of the lower sills are in excellent condition with no rot. The rear inner lower parts are in perfect condition. The vehicle starts and drives, with excellent road manners and smooth gear changes.
