Description
L'Atelier des 1000 is delighted to offer for sale this Porsche 930 3. 3 Turbo Cabriolet G50 in a unique configuration ordered by the Exclusive Manufaktur department as a show car to showcase the brand's expertise in bespoke preparation. It combines a special order Satin Schwarz Metallic finish with an exclusive Lilac leather interior, with a total of 8 specific options equipping this uncommon 930, which is furthermore fitted with an optional electric soft top as standard. An absolute icon of the 1980s, the Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet was produced from 1987 and only received the G50 five-speed manual gearbox during its final year of production in 1989, which transformed its character by making it more usable, more powerful and more manageable. With fewer than 250 examples sold in Europe, this final version remains an absolute rarity and particularly sought-after by collectors. This example has featured in numerous press articles such as Flat 6 and Auto Rétro, and even has the distinction of appearing in Porsche's official sales documentation from 1989! Matching numbers and matching colours, it has been meticulously maintained at its original dealership until 1995, before being registered for the first time in Alsace in 1996, showing 69, 650 km. It changed hands three times before joining, in 2020, the collection of its last owner, a famous French actor, further reinforcing the singular character of this vehicle. This 3. 3 is accompanied by an extensive file of maintenance invoices covering the last twenty years, as well as its original service booklet, stamped continuously from 1989 to the present day. It notably underwent a full check at Porsche Classic in 2026 which revealed no particular anomalies. Very well optioned, it is notably equipped with the following options: Extended leather interior Steering wheel with Porsche logo Exclusive "Lilac" leather interior Black piping G50 gearbox Electric and heated seats Air conditioning (requires servicing/ recharging) 6-speaker audio system Electric soft top Satin Black Metallic exterior finish Tinted windscreen with gradient band Velvet carpet in front boot Locking differential at 40% Powered by the 3. 3-litre turbocharged flat-six developing 300 bhp designed by Hans Mezger, it perfectly embodies the brutal and exhilarating character of the model. The KKK turbo spools from 3, 500 rpm, propelling the car with extraordinary vigour, whilst maintaining the build quality and comfort worthy of the finest GTs of its era. Mechanically, the engine starts without difficulty and delivers all its power with the characteristic sound of a turbocharged flat-six, accentuated by a stainless steel dual-outlet exhaust line, offering a raw and captivating note. Mechanical servicing has been carried out for sale. The G50 five-speed gearbox offers smooth gear changes and precise engagement, whilst the clutch performs its role perfectly, showing no signs of wear. The steering and suspension geometry ensure sound handling, whilst the suspension guarantees perfect road contact. The underside is in perfect condition, obviously free from corrosion and consistent with the overall condition of the car. The braking is powerful and balanced. The Fuchs alloys look excellent and are shod with tyres in very good condition. The bodywork is in very fine presentational condition. The paintwork, refreshed a few years ago, retains all its lustre. The exterior trim and plastics are also very well preserved, testifying to careful maintenance. The extended Lilac leather interior is in very fine condition, displaying a light even patina. The steering wheel shows some signs of wear, so we have liaised with a tannery to produce a bespoke sample of the original leather, allowing for its restoration should the new owner wish. The black alpaca soft top and soft top cover are in excellent condition and the electrical system is perfectly functional. Given the rarity and exclusive configuration of this car, we are asking €180, 000.
