We are very pleased to offer a stunning Fiesta Yellow 1993 Rover Mini 1275cc with a Mk1 twist. This beautiful Mini offers all the charm and features of an early Mini but with everyday useability. It has benefitted form lots of time and expense lavished on it and has been and known and maintained by us for a few years. I have always been an admirer of this Mini particularly because of its quality, condition and the amount of fantastic extras it has.
Fiesta yellow is a rare sixties Austin Mini Cooper colour which is seldom seen this days and combined with an old English White really make this Mini stand out. Externally it has had the full MK1 Cooper make over that briefly comprises of the correct bonett, moustache and Benelite grille with built in period Lucas spot lamps, Overider bumpers with nudge bars, Mk1 rear lights and boot lid, hinged rear number plate and a period Lucas reverse light. It also sits on a set of sexy deep dish ten inch Minilite wheels with wider profile Falken tyres and Cooper S disc brakes. Morris Cooper badging finishes off its awesome looks. This is the Mini that stops people in there tracks. It has a real presence.
On the road this Mini drives very well indeed. Its fuel injected engine is very healthy and performs well through a smooth and precise gearbox, It has a 2. 7 final drive so long distance cruising is also a breeze. It also has fully adjustable height suspension and Gas shocks. A Maniflow exhaust gives it the correct Cooper burble. All you need to do to enjoy this gem is just turn the key and go.
The MK1 theme continues with the interior which is very well appointed. It has been converted to a centre clock binnacle that houses a 130 MPH Cooper S speedo with oil pressure and temperature gauges. It has also has a MK1 central instrument panel conversion with the ignition in the centre and toggle switches operating the lights and wipers. It has a period Mountney steering wheel and gear knob, MK1 indicator stalk with the green flashing light on the tip and further toggle switches to operate the screen wash, front and rear fogs and a very useful heated front screen, it even has a dim/ dip switch on the floor. The seats are trimmed in a pale grey with blue carpets and this model also has rear seat belts. The interior and its finish are testament to the hard work that has gone into this wonderful Mini.
This Mini also has a very solid shell, imported from Japan in 2016 and showing no evidence of repairs or welding, it has the correct vented sills, body coloured floor pans and untouched boot floor. As you can see, the paintwork is gleaming and indeed is all the chrome work. The private number plate is also included in the Mini
The Mini is fully serviced, checked and driven and has a long MOT and is ready to be driven away and enjoyed.
