We have pleasure in offering for sale on behalf of a good client this 1997 993 Carrera 2 Cabriolet which was purchased in 2025 with the sole intention of undertaking a continental tour with friends. In 2025 we were commissioned to carry out a comprehensive inspection and compiled a list of observations and recommendations to ensure that the vehicle provided maximum pleasure and reliability – having completed its 2, 500 mile trip with perfect reliability it is now available for purchase.
In 2025 the car received a full engine rebuild with invoices on file totalling over £20, 000 ( which was our clients motivation for purchase ) – earlier this year we undertook just shy of £4000 worth of extra work to ensure absolute reliability.
Bodily the Car presents very respectably, both inside and out, minor stone chips have been touched in and the interior is very clean but some evidence of wear is present on the leather. The Wheels are very respectable with only minor marks and a few old wheel weight stickers still in place, the wheels are shod with Michelin Pilot 4S Tyres all with good tread remaining. The main focus on preparation earlier this year was on performance and reliability we didn’t undertake any cosmetics other than valeting and a little further attention / detailing to the paintwork and colour correction to the driver’s seat would elevate this example to a higher financial level.
This is a great opportunity to purchase a mechanically sound example of the last air cooled 911 that has had a vast amount of money spent and could be further enhanced ( if required ) at a point of your choosing – at this price point it makes auction cars look a dangerous choice !!
