Genuine UK-market 1975 Honda CB750
Reported to have been running and riding very well before being placed on static display
Purchased in 2008 and retained in a private collection since
Launched in 1969, Honda’s CB750 was a landmark motorcycle, combining a smooth four-cylinder engine with electric starting and a front disc brake in a package that helped redefine the large-capacity motorcycle. Its performance, refinement and reliability established the template for the modern superbike, and surviving examples are increasingly sought after today.
First registered in the UK in 1975, this CB750 is understood to be a genuine UK-market machine. Registration KEH 1N, it was acquired by the current ownership in 2008 and subsequently enjoyed sparing use over the following five or six years.
The Honda was taken off the road around 2013/ 2014 and subsequently became part of a static display within a private collection. The vendor advises that the machine was running and riding very well when it was last used. Having remained unused for a considerable period, it will now require recommissioning and safety checks before returning to the road.
Presenting nicely overall and displaying the purposeful styling that made Honda’s four-cylinder CB750 such an important motorcycle, KEH 1N represents an appealing opportunity to return a genuine UK example of this landmark model to active use.
