In 1978, Bultaco unveiled the Pursang Mk12. Relentless production pace was essential in motocross to keep up with the development race. This model was revolutionary: it was the first to adopt a poppet-valve engine manufactured in Spain, a technology still extremely widespread today. Producing 38. 8 bhp in 250 cc guise and up to 43 bhp in 370 cc, the Mk12 featured a five-speed gearbox and gas-charged dampers.
This example is simply magnificent: the mechanical and aesthetic quality of this bike is beyond question.
