The Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG (R230 generation) is one of the most striking AMG models of the early 2000s. This two-seater roadster, featuring an electro-hydraulically retractable Vario-Roof hardtop, combined the comfort of a luxury saloon with the performance of a true high-performance GT. Its most distinctive feature is the supercharged M113K V8 engine, which was renowned for its exceptional power delivery and robust construction; indeed, the SL 55 AMG also served as the basis for the Formula 1 Safety Car. This 2003 model is fitted with an AMG V8 Kompressor petrol engine with a displacement of 5, 439 cm³, which delivers 368 kW (500 k) and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. The car is fitted with a five-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The chassis utilises the ABC (Active Body Control) hydraulic system. The car is in very good and well-preserved condition, fully functional and roadworthy. It was imported into the Czech Republic from Germany in 2022 and comes with a fully up-to-date German service history book.
