Minor Low Light Tourer in overall good condition. Originally exported to South Africa it was retuned to the UK in ’54. The problem with these cars was the rather anaemic side valve engine. In the early fifties Alta Engineering of sports car and racing engine fame offered an overhead valve conversion. The kit included an alloy OHV cylinder head and all the parts needed to convert the 27bhp engine to 56 horsepower. These conversions are now very rare. It is believed that this 1950 car had the conversion in the fifties. I have had the car for just under three years and have done very little mileage. It needs to go to a more appreciative home.
