Very reluctant sale is my Honda Africa Twin, its the original RD03 650 model built in the late 80`s by HRC Honda to compete in the Dakar Rally.
The bike is in beautiful condition throughout, no major marks or damage on the bike at all as can be seen from the photos. Certainly the best I have seen for sale in the UK.
All RD03 models are imported from Europe as they were never sold in the UK, this one came from Belgium.
59000km so just under 40000 miles, comes complete with 12 months tax and MOT, fully serviced in June this year with new filters and oil change. Runs and rides perfect as you would expect from this bulletproof engine.
Its the original 650 engine so much lighter and smoother than the later Africa twins and also has the single front brake disc.
Brand new front tyre 10 miles of use and rear tyre has loads of life left.
Comes with original RD03 pannier racks and more recent Motech crash bars, also a choice of 3 screens original, medium and tall. Rear wheel is slightly marked but still completely serviceable and nowhere near ready for replacing ( Old Africa Twins wheels were known to corrode overtime ).
