Description
A fairly original and largely unrestored V8 pilot. I bought this about two years ago after it had been laid up for three years.
I haven't done a great deal with it in the intervening time. It is complete, starts, runs and stops but I haven't used it enough to know a great deal about it. It does drive well and pulls smoothly.
The original 21 stud V8 has been replaced with a French 24 stud engine, however the engine removed from the car is included.
Structure wise it is very good with an excellent chassis. The body panels are largely good although the paint, much of which I believe to be original is suffering in places. The only rust of any note is the boot floor which has suffered.
The leather seats and interior panels are also original and are showing their age.
It has a 12 volt conversion with a WOSP lightweight starter fitted.
There are a significant amount of spares which I am including in the sale price. These include two 21 stud V8s, a complete set of body panels, spare glass, chrome, a half shaft plus more.
