This Capri is a very rare chance to get a super condition low mileage car that has never been welded and is very original. It has covered just 61, 000 miles from new with a large documented history. It has it's original 1. 6 pinto engine with superb oil pressure and drives very well. It has a sunroof for those summer days. You won't find any filler or evidence of welding. It's virtually rust free, you have to look very hard to find any blemishes as the the car looks stunning.
It's even been on TV as the capri to aim for, it was on Wheeler Dealers, not the car they did up, but the car they showed you what a capri should be like, find it on YouTube. Everything works as it should. The only things that have been changes are the steering wheel and gear knob, original ones are sold with the car. It's had a 4 branch sports exhaust system fitted although I have an original steel type exhaust in my loft in new condition that you can buy separately if you wish. Do to lack of use I have fitted new disc on the from with new calipers and brake pads. The car is currently SORN and the MOT expired in March but I can renew this if the full price or something close to it is paid. It will walk through the. MOT no problem.
The negative bit are all the things that happen with capris, the stitching on
the front two seats is starting to come undone, there are a couple of splits in the dash on the very top where the sun has baked it.
