The GTB design has been described by Ferrari enthusiasts as a more elegant and pure Pininfarina form compared to its marketing-oriented GTS rival. In 1986 Ferrari decided to produce a very limited run of Ferrari GTB Turbos that were equipped with a 2. 0lt V8 turbocharged at an astonishing 15. 2 PSI. The 328-based cars did produce 254bhp at 6500 rpm and 328Nm at 4100 rpm along with a special Turbo whine. The GTB Turbo was produced solely in 308 copies rendering it a guaranteed classic compared to its sister 328 GTB that was made in 1344 copies.
This particular GTB Turbo was first delivered to Venice's Ferrari dealer Mondial Car s. r. l. on May 1987. Up till 2005 it was maintained by Italy's most reputable Ferrari service centers such as Autorimessa Crivellari s. a. s., Michelotto & C. s. n. c., Ram s. r. l. and Rossomonza Assistenza. In 2006 it was registered with Automobile Club Italia for its originality and then sold to its current owner as part of private Ferrari collection in the dry climate of Athens, Greece. It is currently offered in impeccable authentic and preserved condition.
