For sale I have a MKII Transit. As we all know transits come in many many variations but you'll find this particular variant is very few and far between - Long wheel based, Twin rear wheeled axle, sliding drivers door 14 seater Minibus!
The old girl runs, drives, stops, electrics are all good, wipers good, fans, power to radio etc... Engine is great, even after years of standing she fired up nicely with zero smoke. Engine is now a Di but was originally a 2. 4 Petrol. Rear step has had a 'V' cut out to accommodate the towbar:
Van is a project but far from a basket case. I won't go saying how good I think it is because everybody's opinion varies massively. I bought it blind and was very pleased but as always when buying an oldie it's best to view first.
Would also like to add that from what I can see the van is UNWELDED!! There's the odd small filler job here n there but no substantial repairs have ever taken place.
I'm not really fussed whether she sells or not so please keep silly offers at bay... PX Wise I'll only really be interested in 1950's British or Yanks but try me either way... (Another '55 100e Anglia wouldn't go amiss)
Comes with brand new rear panel, 4 spare wheels, an extra step and a few other bits and pieces.
