This elegant–bodied vehicle is a factory-produced cabriolet. It was originally delivered to the famed film producer Erik Charell, one of the key figures in the pre-war German music and film business, in 1931. Only 18 of this particular model were ever produced and it was by far the most expensive ever built before the war. The restoration was carried out in perfect quality by renowned market experts. The interior is very luxurious, with its beautifully polished root wood. All types (on the torpedo, body and engine) are original. With its unpolitical past and the fantastic originality, this Mercedes 770 K represents a collectors item and a value proposition for highest demands.
