Galvanised Chassis, 12v, 2286cc Petrol. FWH Released 1992. 4 former keepers. MOT until October 30th 2017 (no advisories).
We are delighted to present for sale this freshly, professionally restored Lightweight. As can be seen from the photos it has been fully restored, to include a new, galvanised chassis, painted black for authenticity. The bulkhead and bodywork has also been restored, giving this lightweight a very straight, clean appearance - it hasn't seen a muddy for or a dirty road since restoration either, so retains the "just out of the packet" feel.
Externally, the paintwork is finished to a lovely finish - just as it should be - and it is rebuilt to look as original as possible, with the correct headlights, bumpers etc etc.
The inside houses two front seats, with the battery under the box in the centre (only one battery in there due to it now being 12 volt.) The rear is unfitted although a pair of bench seats and belts can be added if required.
Obviously, this rebuild includes many new parts (see engine bay shot), and as such drives just as it should. It will qualify for tax exemption in around 3 years time.
In summary, if you are looking for a 12 volt, petrol, galvanised chassis lightweight, then this is well worth a look - and with the asking price being somewhat less than the actual cost to build another the same, we think it's great value for money.
