TR4a is one of the rarest and most desirable of the 4 cylinder TRs, only 28450 being produced between 1965 and 1967, giving way to the TR5.
This car is a uniquely preserved car, which was originally sold and registered in Madrid in 1966. As Franco´s Spain was closed to imports of foreign cars, the TR4a would have been bought by a wealthy and mature first owner. This, together with limited use in a very benevolent climate means that this is a very preserved example.
Finished in its original and desirable colours of Powder Blue with dark blue interior, equipped with wire-wheels and overdrive, this car is one of the most desirable TR4a specifications available. It comes from a major private Spanish collection and has been known to CCRJ for many years. With a low mileage of 94481 kms, excellent provenance and very little use since a first class older restoration, the car will provide its new owner with comfortable and reliable long-distance touring.
