Car Originally featured in audi driver January 1985 and republished in the Audi driver quattro special April 2001
Listing this for a disabled friend who has been very badly let down by a paint shop,
Having saved up to have car restored he made the decision to take it to proper restoration specialist, as the guy entrusted with the job had not done anything in 8 years!
When it was delivered for restoration the sight was a shock to my friend as the car had clearly not been dry stored as promised and had deteriorated further than his saving for the project would stretch to.
He has been very badly let down and has lost heart in the project. therefore he has reluctantly decided to let it go .
THE CAR WILL NEED A TOTAL RESTORATION.
The engine was completely rebuilt and covered hardly any mileage however it has locked up due to time it has been stood and will require a complete strip and rebuild as will all the othe mechanical items, I suspect. It has new new wing and bonnet fitted, original steering wheel lights trim and many new parts.
Car was featured in the publication "Worlds Fastest Cars" so my well have been an Audi press car.
This is born out by its CRP registration number
