1963 Vauxhall Cresta PB. This is a lovely solid car which has never been welded and does not require any – quite remarkable for a 54 year- old Vauxhall. One owner from new until 2003 and the speedo now reads 88, 000 which cannot be guaranteed but is possibly not far away. MOT until 31 October 2017.
Manual with overdrive which makes for relaxed cruising. The engine pulls strongly and the tow bar could be very useful. The car runs very well and recently completed a 100 mile run from Gatwick without any more drama than a failed rear light.
Complete respray last year in the rather attractive original combination of Gull Grey over Venetian Red. The interior is very good with reasonably new carpets and original headlining/ door cards. Leather seats which are free from any tears/ rips and would easily present better with some reconditioning.
These PB’s are becoming increasingly rare and at the moment are much more realistically priced than their Ford competition.
