Description
1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 H. J. Mulliner Drophead Coupe.
Chassis number: SKG31
Registration number: 5417F
One of just 9 Right-hand drive aluminum bodied H. J. Mulliner convertibles produced. This car had a massive restoration costing over £300, 000 & taking over 40 months to complete performed by noted marque specialists: The Chelsea Workshop in the late 1990's. Paperwork with the car shows The singer Madonna Celebrating nuptials in the car at Skibo castle. A regular attendee at various Concours events, the car has in the last couple of decades taken home more than its fair share of the silverware.
The car is finished in dark blue paintwork with cream leather & dark blue carpets to the interior. The rear seat is configured to fold up allowing for the carriage of additional fitted luggage which comes with the car. It has been beautifully maintained during the last decade long ownership whilst being regularly but sparingly used as part of a small collection of 10 or so Rolls Royce & Bentley motor cars. We are also selling a flying spur from the same collection. Indicated mileage is 84, 000 from new. The car drives beautifully as one might expect & wants for nothing.
