Beschreibung
Purchased by a doctor brand new 06/ 04/ 1976 who owned it until 10/ 06/ 1990. It has since had one local elderly owner who only used it locally & attended numerous classic car shows, one of which he achieved a certificate of merit for runner up in the class for the best Triumph mark two.
It comes with a huge history file even including the very first 1000 mile service carried out by the supplying British Leyland dealer & every subsequent invoice & repair receipt to date. Recent works include new steering rack, alternater, rear shock absorbers, brake pipes including flexis, stainless steel exhaust & new tyres etc. It has covered a genuine 106000 miles from new & has a full 12 months mot.
This remarkable example has been treasured & maintained regardless of cost from new. The body, paintwork & interior is impeccable. The car has never been restored & has been used on a daily basis. The under bonnet has the original waxoyle protection from new. The wheel arches, sills etc are excellent & the door bottoms are original as can be seen by the seams. The paintwork is excellent with no blemishes. It has the original British Leyland fitted radiomobile push button radio & lucas front fog lights. The car drives without fault. The most desirable manual overdrive gearbox works perfectly.
A really genuine example now rarely available.
