This example was ordered by Mr J. R. Barlow from R. Cripps of Nottingham on the 17th April 1957 in Pearl Grey/ Fiesta Blue with Fiesta Blue upholstery, it had several options fitted including a heater, whitewall tyres and wooden veneered fillets at a cost of £877. 5. 2 including purchase tax.
By 1987 it was still in Nottingham with a mileage of 49, 131 and getting little use, the next year the mileage had increased to 49, 941; by 2000 it had moved on to a Dr C. Stockdale in Solihull who kept it until at least 2007 where the mileage was up to 71, 538. In 2010 a Mr Reilly in Stanley, County Durham was the owner before our vendor purchased it in 2014. Today the mileage is only at 72, 011 and this lack of use is the reason for the sale today.
