Austin Healey Sprite 1969 Mk4 1275cc
Showing 74, 000 Miles on the clock
The car has recently be repainted in it original and best colour of Old English White with contrasting black interior.
All five wire wheels have been freshly powder coated and look fantastic.
Work over recent years include a new fuel tank and silencer.
This really is a fun car to drive and pulls in every gear and stop straight and level.
Interior is sharp with no rips or tears. The car benefits from roof tonneau cover and full tonneau for the cabin as photographed.
The car has a fresh 12 months mot.
The car is very good indeed however there is room for improvement for a enthusiast.
Under the bonnet is good but would benefit from being detailed.
The inner boot is original paint and would benefit from a carpet set.
The bumper are patina-ted and are not new chrome. They are NOT rusty. In my opinion this is how they should be.
If you want to be a connoisseur then by a Sprite if you want to be just another joe blogs then buy a midget.
Most notable from the mk 3 is the change from a removable convertible top, which had to be stowed in the boot, to a permanently affixed, folding top of greatly improved design, which was much easier to use. Separate brake and clutch master cylinders were fitted, as car manufacturers' thoughts began to turn to making their products safer. At the same time reversing lamps were made a standard fitment and the cars' electrical system was switched to negative earth and powered by an alternator rather than a dynamo. This was also the first year that reclining seats were fitted.
Owners manual and reproduction service passport included in the sale.
