You will already know that the Saab 900 Turbo is a rare and increasingly collectable thing. I imagine you'll also have found out that at the end of the run of the classic shape Saab 900 the factory in Sweden produced a special Ruby edition - and only 150 of these cars were sent to the UK.
The Saab 900 Turbo Ruby I have for sale is the last of those cars, number 150. It's special place in history is assured - as the last UK classic shape Saab 900.
The Ruby edition includes the uprated 185bhp turbo engine, buffalo leather seats with Italian zegna wool inserts, electric sunroof and unique grey alloys with chrome outer rim.
This particular car had one owner to around 2009 when the car passed to his son in law. I bought it in 2013 and have had the following work carried out:
professional renewal of headlining
refurbishment of alloys (although some staining now appearing on chrome rims)
welding and waxyoil to underside
ball joints, calipers, belts, battery and discs replaced
headgasket replacement in September 2016
replacement of wheel arch mouldings
front wing replacement and complete professional respray in summer 2016
She comes with a printed full service history to 2009 (at 87, 947 miles) and since my ownership (from 107, 000 miles) has been regularly serviced. Tax discs from first day on the road until 2011 are also present. Two sets of keys.
The MOT lasts until October 2018 and current mileage is 116, 000
Not everything is perfect on this car but it looks great and drives well. It is a sound investment as well as being an enjoyable and very useable modern classic which turns heads out on the road
