Beschreibung
Land Rover 2. 5 petrol engine. Removed from a running Defender some 3 years ago for intended transplant into my 109.
This never happened and so this engine needs a new home.
It is a 17H type engine, complete with starter, alternator and twin-choke Weber carb.
This engine had previously been run on LPG as well as petrol- a task it was very well suited for. The recorded mileage on the donor vehicle was around 90k.
The engine turns smoothly with good compression. It will need a distributor cap and possibly a set of points to run- that's all.
These are a sought-after engine, as they were the penultimate design of the Rover 2. 25 and delivered more power and torque.
Located near Warminster, Wilts BA12 area.
This can be couriered on a pallet within the UK mainland for £75.
