This isn't one for the purist, but if you want a well sorted, useable little car to buzz about in as a daily driver, this may fit the bill!
The previous owner was a welder/ fabricator by trade, he rebuilt it for his partner to use as a daily driver, so it has a 1275cc Marina engine, twin carbs from an MG midget, free flowing exhaust manifold and system (not too loud), disk brakes, front anti roll bar, a higher ratio Wolseley 1500 differential and a recent set of tyres.
Being a welder by trade, he cut out all the rot he could find and replaced it with good metal, fitted fibreglass wings, repaired the doors and metal boot lid, then repainted the whole car in two pack black. The interior was tidied up with new carpets and headlining.
Now reluctantly for sale due to a house purchase, the car has been in regular use for about a year since being finished, so is pretty well sorted.
It has a long mot (the last it will officially need) and is obviously tax exempt.
The paintwork isn't perfect, but it looks smart and polishes up well.
