now in the uk this stunning factory built backdraft shelby cobra, titled as 1965 cobra (historic vehicle), i will be happy to register this cobra on a uk v5 for its new owner,
the cobra is finished in stunning viper blue with shelby arctic white stripes and really the paintwork and panel finish are miles away from any kit car, backdraft cobras are factory built using only new oe parts there are no used parts on them , they are not a kit car and are well known for there quality,
the interior is close to the original shelby cobra with correct dashboard layout and ac style premium leather seats with racing harness's to both seats, ac style wood steering wheel , billet gear lever and correct location billet handbrake, the cockpit is lined in quality carpet throughout and the same in the boot,
under the hood is a ford seasoned 351 windsor v8 racing engine with elderbrock performer heads and elderbrock cams, the rugged ford aod 4 speed with overdrive automatic gearbox was rebuilt by hughes performance and driving wise its perfect with no loss of performance on the auto, the gear selector in the cockpit looks just like a manual but without the heavy clutch stuff a real joy to drive but still with that cobra roar out the ceramic side pipes, below is a link with more hd pictures and i will be adding a walkround video over the next few days,
