Description
Stunning original numbers matching car, never restored or had any new panels. This is a genuine 79000ml 1725cc car with Overdrive gearbox. It won a 'Best of British' survivor award at the South Carolina concours last year and is a really nice driving example. I brought it into the UK last year and immediately showed it to one of the foremost Alpine restorers in the country for his opinion. He said it was as good as they get. The hood was worn and tatty so i have just bought a brand new one to match the nice full tonneau cover. I have decided to sell in order to build an extension on my house. I cant stress enough how nice a driver this car is. The previous owner was on the commitee of the Sunbeam Club of America and really looked after the car . He had all the suspension rebuilt with new joints, bushes etc and it rides and tracks dead true. The car is fitted with the Weber conversion but has all the original carbs and components supplied. All the gauges and switches function perfectly and the oil pressure is spot on, even after a long journey. Heater works well with two fan speeds. There are many boxes of very desireable spare parts with the car, together with manuals, workshop books and various articles.
As you can see in the pictures , panel fit and paintwork are fabulous and the wheels, trims and tyres look brand new. Boot area is mint as is the spare. Exhaust and battery are a year old. I have lots of pictures on Flickr, if you would care to see them, click on the link below. You can ring me anytime or leave me your number and i will call you straight back. With some further tinkering you can make this into a very valuable and sought after vehicle so im pricing it very reasonably for a quick sale with no fuss. Thank you.
