Here for sale we are delighted to present this smart ragtop Series 3, in popular Light Pastel Green. On the outside, the vehicle has a recent canvas, and lamp guards to the front and rear. The headlight surrounds and bumper have been colour coded to match. Free Wheeling Hubs are fitted to limit wear to the front axle, whilst giving a benefit in fuel economy. A full set of modular wheels and 750 tyres are fitted to give the right look whilst improving on-road cruising. A swing-away wheel carrier houses the spare, which is of the correct size and type.
On the inside, there are three front seats of standard type, with deluxe matting to the front footwells. The rear, although unfitted houses a load mat but bench seats could be added for £295 should this be required and would increase cabin capacity to seven seated including the driver.
The diesel engine starts keenly, and out on the road the vehicle drives just as it should, having benefitted from a newly reconditioned gearbox. The slightly larger than average tyres assist with gearing ratios, giving a dependable feel to the drive. Parabolic Springs make for a much more compliant and comfortable ride for passengers, and improve the handling characteristics.
In summary, this is a well presented, individual looking Series 3, which we think looks great - it performs as it should and will enjoy both MOT and Tax Exemption in due course. If you are looking for a classic Land Rover, which looks a bit different, to get you around in Winter and Summer, then this could be for you.
