Banks Lotus Europa race car- type 62 with Honda K20. Factory built by Europa engineering in 2007. Banks transverse space framed chassis with bonded alloy skins- Completed three full seasons of racing plus testing. Honda V-Tec K20A transverse mounted engine and gearbox with Hondadata ECU. Rebuilt and fitted in march 2012 the engine has run for three hours. 175 bhp at rear wheels. Reinforced High Grade Driveshafts installed 2010. Front vented 4 pot AP brakes. Shocker spring assemblies includes front and rear AVO dampers with adjustment for bump and rebound, adjustable spring platform.
Car is extremely quick and handles amazingly. Before the recent engine rebuild, it was used as a track day and occasional race car. Used competitively in 2010 , it won classic sports car races and many silhouette class victories. The car is road registered as 1971 Lotus Europa
