Description
Reluctant sale of my pre-production, press launch G-WAC 3. 9 Range Rover Classic.
G361WAC was a press fleet vehicle for the launch of the 3. 9 V8 1990 model year; and took part in the press activities alongside the launch of the Discovery in November 1989.
Finished in Plymouth Blue with Vogue spec’ she has comprehensive service history from new (two service books fully stamped) and her original handbooks etc.
She is still fitted with her original pre-production V8 engine (number 19).
She is in original unrestored condition and never been welded. She starts, drives and sounds glorious.
Having spent the last 12 years in a dry barn now needs some restoration. All her panels, wings doors, bonnet, rear tailgate are all excellent, rot free and reusable. The top tailgate has some rust in the lower section.
She needs repairs to her steel body shell: sills, front inner wings, rear crossmember etc. Her boot floor is excellent. Her chassis is also superb. Perfect alloy wheels with new tyres.
There are no nasty previous bodges to undo, she has never been welded - it is virgin rust so-to-speak and an ideal candidate for a straightforward restoration.
If you wish to restore a Range Rover then a pre-production, press launch example is the one to choose for future investment - consider the premium that the original 1970 Range Rover press cars have over other suffix-A examples.
Further photographs and video footage of her driving available upon request.
Serious enquiries only please.
