An alloy body means both little or no corrosion to worry about and a light weight body, serving both the 3. 0 V6 petrol engine and fuel economy well. On the road she is smooth yet responsive and a comfortable, luxurious cockpit in which to drive (or be driven!). The paintwork is near-mint with just small touch-ups on the bumpers of note and the alloys remain in very good condition. Inside, there is no visible wear to the seat bolsters and the leather and wood trim appears as-new.
The present owner is a life-long Jaguar enthusiast, never having had a time without a Jaguar, and having owned this XJ6 for a year, feels that at just over 90 he ought to ‘hang up his driving gloves’ and is regretfully therefore listing it for sale – hopefully to be cherished by the new owner.
